"I tried to do purple & pink ombré and the pink worked just fine but the purple did not work AT ALL. I used purple clenditioner on my roots one time & it stuck better than this. I think the pink I used was pink warrior"

"I am too afraid to use this because the amethyst conditioner I bought faded to pink. This is a WARM color that fades to the red spectrum, NOT BLUE OR COOL TONED like all other purple hair products. My typically cool-toned blonde hair has faded to strawberry blonde because of this unexpected formulation. For those that hate when your blonde hair is a warm tone, like me, avoid avoid avoid!"

Didn't take, even to extremely lightened hair
"When I had pure white hair and was ready to change it up, I bought this shade on a whim. It's the only color I have ever used by MP that did NOT take to my hair at all. I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what, but this should be marketed as a hair tint, if even that. Again I put this on pure platinum white hair. And it rinsed right out, didn't even stain. I've used other shades, including other purples, by MP and always loved the results. I don't know why this one was such a miss. I wanted to leave this here so others know: You're better off using ANY of the other shades of purple!"
