    "Preface with a little info about my hair: - My natural hair is black, hip-length, and medium-thick. - I bleach streaks into my hair with the Manic Panic kit, which end up an orangeish dark-blondish yellow. - I wash my hair once a week with Manic's Not Fade Away shampoo and conditioner (I'm a lazy ADHD bitch, don't judge me) - My ideal hair colour is a VIBRANT deep magenta/purpley pink (NO ORANGEY-RED TONES). I've tried multiple colours from Manic Panic over the past decade but always returned to "my" colour: Hot Hot Pink. I fricking love that colour, though it tended to fade to, like, cool-toned highlighter red faster than I would have liked (and then everyone would tell me they loved my "red" hair 🥲). But then I tried Fuchsia Shock and I think it might be the perfect solution for me. FS is a lot darker and more purpley than HHP, and ended up looking burgundy (a favourite colour of mine) on my hair. A bit darker than perhaps my ideal, but this actually worked HUGELY in my favour. Because as it faded, it basically ended up looking how HHP looked on me! So I basically get two colours in one and double the length of time I can go before I want to re-dye it! It's been almost a year since I first tried the colour, I've re-dyed it only ONCE on July 1st, and I plan on re-dyeing it soon! Fuchsia Shock is still redder on me than I would prefer, so I'm going to try layering a purple dye on top of the colour remaining this time! So if you like Hot Hot Pink and don't mind burgundy, I highly recommend 👏🏼 Pictures: 1. Ten days after dyeing 2. One month after dyeing 3. Two months after dyeing 4. Three months after dyeing 5.
