Looking for colorful hair but not sure how it will show up on red tones? You're not alone! We've got colors that work great on warm base colors. Keep in mind that they will be more subtle (see medium-level swatches on pages for reference). The darker the base color, the more subtle the results. and some shades may not show up well on your hair without pre-lightening. As a general rule, we suggest sticking to warmer tones that won't interfere with the natural warmth in the hair! They also, most likely won't last quite as long since the unbleached hair follicle it's healthy which means it is also less porous and therefore holds on to dye for less time. Since semipermanent hair doesn't lift, it doesn't damage! But because of this, you'll want to use the most pigmented shades there are to get the most color pay-off. For best results with Manic Panic, you'll want to lift/bleach hair before coloring. ALWAYS do a strand test before coloring to ensure you'll be happy with the outcome and you can adjust your mix if necessary!
