Looking for colorful hair without bleaching? You're not alone! We've got colors that work great on brown hair. Keep in mind that they will be more subtle (see swatches on each color page for reference) than they would be on a bleached base. The darker the base color the less intense the color with all semipermanent hair color and some shades may not show up well on black hair without pre-lightening. They also, most likely won't last quite as long since the unbleached hair follicle is so healthy it is less porous and therefore holds on to dye for less time. Since semipermanent hair doesn't lift, it doesn't damage! But because of this, you'll want to use the most pigmented shades there are to get the most color pay-off. For best results with Manic Panic, you'll want to lift/bleach hair before coloring. ALWAYS do a strand test before coloring to ensure you'll be happy with the outcome, and you can adjust your mix if necessary!
That said, these are your best options for coloring on unbleached hair! All of these shades are deep and richly pigmented!
