Best color for naturally grey hair "I don't hate my grey hair enough to use permanent dye. I do like to jazz it up a bit. This is good for that." — Laura Z. (5/5)
It doesn’t work "I was at a level ten blonde my hair was literally turning white, I used this and it turned my hair blue. I literally don’t even know how that is possible." — Chad (1/5)
Not accurate "I’m literally so disappointed it turned my hair a tealish green color 💔💔💔💔" — Evelyn P. (1/5)
Washed out "This stuff washed out , I bleached my hair dyed half vampire red with high voltage that has always worked for me . I wanted to dye the other half dark star put it on bleached hair waited 3 hours and it washed out immediately the red stayed so I have half blonde half red hair , it looks like crap honestly I would never buy the amplified again I thought it was a stronger product but it didn’t even take to my hair . I’ve been using their products since the 90s always loved high voltage but amplified I have no love for :" — Rhiannon (1/5)
Not mad, but not impressed "Hair was pre lightened to level 10. Wanted to do smoky roots into voodoo blue. Had to go back over with voodoo blue. Just looked like a swampy blonde like when fun colors fade" — Val (1/5)
Never received "The package apparently didn’t have my full address only the city and state so it was sent back and I still haven’t received a refund or anything." — Kasey B. (1/5)
Great for what it is "I have waited a few weeks to write this review so I could see how long the color stays for with light washing. After a while and only 1 initial application my hair is still fairly vibrant and I'm happy with the results, I will buy more from manic panic in the future." — Jayden Q. (4/5)
i decided to stop buying "i decided to stop buying on amazon as much as i can, so i came directly to the site! shipping was exactly as estimated and the packaging was done well. i love this amplified version of dark star!! i’m growing out my roots and dark star smokes them out to make the line less stark. stains a bit more than the pot version of you let it dry on your skin or a surface, but is easily removed with soap and a good scrub." — Allison S.
