How to Dye

Always perform a patch test 24–48 hours before use.

  1. Pre-lighten: For brightest red results, pre-lighten hair to light blonde using Flash Lightning® Bleach Kit.
  2. Cleanse: Shampoo with Prepare to Dye® Clarifying Shampoo and towel-dry.
  3. Prep: Apply Stellar Shield™ Barrier Cream along hairline.
  4. Apply: Fully saturate clean, damp hair.
  5. Process: 30 minutes.
  6. Rinse: Rinse with cool water until clear.
  7. Style: Dry and style as desired.

"I understand the AI box art controversy but this dye formula is incredible. SUPER VIVID and doesn't bleed or leave color anywhere. Leave it in for an hour or two, rinse it out, then don't wash your hair for a few days and bam you now have permanently extremely red hair. This dye is not semi permanent AT ALL you will be having red hair until you bleach it again."
