PURPLE HAZE® is available in two MANIC PANIC Hair Color formulas:
Classic Cream Formula and Amplified Cream Formula. This striking color, when applied to bleached or pre-lightened hair will be a vivid, deep purple. | HOW DOES SHE DO IT? "First I bleach my hair with 30 volume until it reaches a white tone. Then I rinse with warm water (never use hot water, that hurts it) then I apply Manic Panic dye making sure to cover my hair with a plastic cap or bag, and finally go to sleep with the dye and in the morning rinse with cold water. The color is absorbed better and the result is longer lasting color!" |

| HOW'D HE DO IT? Our Dyehard Jamie is an experienced MANIC PANIC Hair Color user. First he bleaches his hair with Flashlightning™ to almost white. He has a great tip for y'all: he says he washes his hair with shampoo, does not add conditioner, then blow dries his hair before applying MANIC PANIC. This dries out the hair and renders it more porous. He then applies his hair color and leaves it in to process 2 to 3 hours before rinsing with warm water. He's got the best hair color in town, so listen to this guy! PURPLE HAZE® WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. |

| HOW'D SHE DO IT? Our Dyehard Mimi writes us: " bleached my hair to light blond but not white. A few days later (after lots of conditioning) I washed my hair with clarifying shampoo and blow dried. Then my awesome boyfriend applied the Manic Panic Purple Haze® to my hair using a tinting brush and a squeeze bottle. We wrapped it up in some plastic wrap and let it marinate overnight, I really think this helps the color last longer. It's been a few weeks and the color is still as vivid as ever. I've gotten lots of complements and children really seem to love it. COMBINING COLORS TO CREATE YOUR OWN! Our Dyehard Elizabeth used some HOT HOT PINK with her PURPLE HAZE® to get this amazing shade. Here's her very own unique method of coloring her hair: -Rinsed and combed hair, dried with a towel -Applied Purple Haze® to damp hair using a sponge paintbrush. Dyed entire head but left some of my bangs blond, these spots would later be the pinkest. -Waited 30 minutes, using a blowdryer on hot for about 5 minutes with the dye still in -Rinsed in cold water -Waited a few hours, went to a tennis match, swam in the lake (this step is essential to the process!) -Added Hot Hot Pink streaks, let those sit on hair for 40 minutes -Spread a thin layer of Hot Hot Pink, let that sit for 20 minutes -Rinsed in cold water -Added thick Purple Haze lowlights in streaks on top of the Purple-Pink -Waited 30 minutes -Rinsed in cold water |
