ELECTRIC LAVA
ELECTRIC LAVA™ is available in our Classic Cream formula exclusively.

ELECTRIC LAVA™ is a hot hot hot neon orange that really is smoldering!
This color shows up brightest when applied to hair bleached to almost white with our Flashlightning® Bleach Kits,
but as you can see below, the shade will also look great on some unbleached hair.

"My hair bleaches pretty easily so I used a grocery store lightener...to get to a level 9 neutral blonde. I shampooed with a clarifying shampoo and colored with ELECTRIC LAVA™. While coloring, I used a spray bottle of water to keep my hair wet. After applying the color, combing it through, and doing a quick 2nd coat, I covered it with a cap and let it process for about 45 minutes. then I rinsed with tepid water and applied a deep conditioner for about 10 minutes and, upon applying a thermal protecting spray and drying, tada, super bright ELECTRIC LAVA™!!!!"

"I'm Rachel, 14 years old and a new big fan. I've been dying my naturally dark blonde hair since I was about 10 years old, I had used every normal brand bleach blonde and auburn until I turned to coloring with exotic colors--mostly a variety of purples and fire reds. I ... ended my MANIC PANIC virginity with ELECTRIC LAVA and I'm absolutely in love with it. An old dye was fading to a VERY light auburn or a dark strawberry blonde, so I didn't bleach my hair again (it was on the brink of serious damage if I did). I washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner right before dying (I planned on it fading soon so I could use another, new MANIC PANIC color within a few weeks!). I used gloves and almost an entire jar of ELECTRIC LAVA on my short hair. I used my fingers to apply the dye as though I was washing it. I let the dye sit for 35 minutes and then I rinsed with cool water in the shower. The result was amazing!"

"I think my hair had been bleached three times before dying it ELECTRIC LAVA™ orange. When lightening and coloring I always cover my hair with plastic.I don't do it all in one day either so my hair stays soft. When I finally put the
color in I leave it on, however long I want, apply heat and it never makes it feel worse. Rinses out softer then before ! Another thing is when my hair's dry it has white tint which dulls the color. Using a leave-in conditioner , leaving in a little conditioner or a glosser makes the color really glow and look a little darker".

I bleached my dyed red hair to an orange-yellow then dyed right over that with ELECTRIC LAVA™. " The result was..."Freaking AWESOME! The best color ever!..didn't need to lighten my hair completely...totally rocked!"
ELECTRIC LAVA™ ON UNBLEACHED HAIR!
HOW'D SHE DO IT?
"I didn't bleach my hair at all. I just dyed it a caramel color, then towel dried, and added the ELECTRIC LAVA™ hair color. Since I didn't bleach the hair at all, it looks really healthy and I didn't have to put it through lots of chemicals since my natural hair color is black. The best thing about this color is that in a week or two it changes to Fire Orange and I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!!"

"I bleached my dyed red hair out to a very light orange/ dark blonde.  Then applied about a half a jar of Electric Lava.  I left it in my hair for about 2-3 hours with a plastic cap on.  Then, just before rinsing, I blasted it with a blow dryer to get it good and hot.  Then I rinsed with cool water and conditioned.  By only bleaching out to a light orange, I was able to save back a half a jar of my color for fading and touch ups!  This color is perfect if you're having trouble getting red box color out of your hair.  It's hard to get all the way rid of permanent red dyes, but easy to bring up to a light orange.  The Electric Lava covers it GREAT!" - Deanne
