PLUM PASSION™
(formally known as Plum™) is available in our Classic Cream formula exclusively. This deep purple is bluer than Purple Haze™. For best results this color should be applied to pre-lightened hair. Over "virgin" unprocessed hair, it will give a wonderful purple highlight if left on the hair for an extended period of time.

HOW'D SHE DO IT?
"Since I had really dark brown hair of course we needed to bleach it to get the brightest color possible. Since my hair is so long and thick and takes awhile to put all the bleach in. Start at the tips and length of the hair instead of at the roots first because otherwise you get this fun uneven bleaching with a white head and fading out to darker blonde, which is cool for a fire look if that's what you're going for. And my hair was quite stubborn and bleaching took a good deal of time but it was so worth it. The streaking was fun to do and easy, we separated those out first then added the Mystic Heater and wrapped them up and foil so the Plum Passion color didn't dye those as well. It was alot of fun, and the looks I get from people are great, not to mention the compliments as well."

HOW'D SHE DO IT?
"I am naturally pale blonde.....I had used (a temp dye on my hair) so I washed it daily to get (the color out) and my hair was a mousy reddish brown when I started with MANIC PANIC. I did not bleach first. I used a whole jar of Plum Passion™, left it on for about 2 hours, then rinsed with cool water and vinegar."

FUNNY STORIES:
"Under incandescent light, the hair looks more red/brown and it's very difficult to photograph to get the camera to see the purple. In sunlight it's more brilliant.
In the grocery store, I actually got chatting with a woman in the checkout line and I mentioned "hey I'm the kind of nut who dyes her hair purple" and the woman said "Oh? So you DO know it's purple" ?!?!
